International Goalkeeper trainers are former trainees and have attained a collegiate level of play. Each trainer completes a 3 month coaching course before being qualified to work with International Goalkeeper trainees. This internal certification ensure the preservation of International Goalkeeper’s methodology and quality of training.
We have a team of PROFESSIONALS that collaborate with International Goalkeeper Academy on various projects and advancements in their respective industries. As a FAMILY, IGA prides itself on embracing its own trainees’ abilities and talents that create a greater value added to the IGA FAMILY.

Long Island Goalkeeper Academy (LIGA)
Lucy grew up on Long Island after living in England for her childhood. She started her college career locally at Hofstra University before transferring up to Springfield College where she helped her team to two NCAA tournaments while picking up the tournaments MVP award. She most recently has just returned to Long Island after playing professionally in England for Watford, Brighton and Hove Albion and Crystal Palace.
Emily Morphitis is currently the head coach of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's soccer program on Long Island. Prior to this she spent three seasons as the women’s soccer team’s assistant coach at Hofstra University. During her time with the Pride, the women’s soccer program captured two CAA tournament championships and made two NCAA Division I Tournament Appearances. Prior coaching at Hofstra, Morphitis spent two seasons as an assistant coach at DI program Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA. Since 2012 Morphitis has held several coachings positions on Long Island with East Meadow Soccer Club, New York Surf Soccer Club, SUSA, and Smithtown.
Originally from London, England, Morphitis played for Chelsea Football Club’s Ladies first team in the premier league before enrolling at Hofstra in 2010. A member of the England National Youth Squad at the U15, U17 and U19 levels, Morphitis won the 2012 CAA championship with Hofstra in 2012, was a member of the CAA All-Rookie Team in 2010 and was the CAA Tournament MVP in 2012.
